I
grew up in Eagleville, MO and attended all 13 years at North Harrison
R-3
School. My grandparents and parents attended there as well. I know the
value of a small town school.
I went to MU and received a
Bachelors in Science in Education with K-12 Vocal/
Instrumental certification. In 1998, I graduated with my Master's in
Education with Music emphasis. I have been teaching for 22 years
all in K-12 Vocal and/or Instrumental Music. I taught in Hale, MO,
Brunswick, MO and Macon Co. R-4 in New Cambria, MO. This
will begin my fifth year at Sturgeon R-5.
My husband, Mike and I live SW
of Sturgeon and our daughters: Hannah, 8th grade and
Rachel, 6th grade attend Sturgeon.
I love to sing and have been
singing solos since I was 5 in church and later on
the stage in many ways: theatre, talent shows, church choir, and praise
team.
In my spare time, besides singing
I collect Baskets (esp Longaberger), do Creative Memories
scrapbooking and Stampin Up Card making.
Our family attends Sturgeon
Baptist Church where I fill in at piano,
sing in choir and do special music. My husband and I also teach the
High School Sunday School class.
I am a HUGE Cardinals fan and love
to watch NFL and NASCAR too. We also have MU Football
season tickets...GO TIGERS!!
I really look forward to working
with the students in the Choirs and Elementary. I consider it a
priveledge to teach students K-12 and see them grow through the
years. I am glad to be a
teacher in Sturgeon!
Continue to look here for
updates on events and happenings and watch for
pictures of the wonderful students I work with.
Go Bulldogs!
